Surveys the issues of exposure to Bloodborne pathogens and prevention of needlestick injuries for the healthcare worker. These issues include universal precautions exposure to BBP who is at risk appraising the risks personal protection and disposal of biohazards. New technologies like re engineered syringes new laws and recently proposed Federal Acts are also surveyed.
